1.1. These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) govern the use of Woobie’s services, including but not limited to educational resources, medical appointments, and assistance with the VA claims process (hereinafter referred to as “Services”).
1.2. By using our Services, you agree to abide by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Services.
2. Services Provided
2.1. Woobie is a marketing company specializing in connecting veterans to independent medical providers to build supporting evidence for VA claims. Additionally, Woobie provides a done-with-you service for veterans to better help veterans understand and navigate the VA claims process.
2.2. Our Services include educational content, digital products, private medical exams, and support to help veterans with their VA benefits.
3. Eligibility
3.1. Our Services are available to any active duty personnel and all veterans of the United States Armed Forces.
4. Confidentiality
4.1 Confidentiality
Woobie respects the confidentiality of all client information. We do not disclose your personal information to third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law. Access to your data is strictly limited to authorized Woobie personnel and service providers under binding confidentiality agreements.
4.2 No Sale of Data
Woobie will never sell, trade, or otherwise transfer Veterans’ personal data to any third party for commercial purposes under any circumstance.
4.3 Breach Notification & Remediation
In the event of a data breach, Woobie will:
Notify affected Veterans via email within 24 hours of identifying the breach
Provide details regarding the nature of the breach and the type of data affected
Offer guidance on protective steps such as password resets or credit monitoring
Implement immediate remedial security measures to prevent recurrence
4.4 Data Deletion Requests
Veterans may request permanent deletion of their personal data at any time. Upon receiving a verified request, Woobie will:
Delete all personally identifiable Veteran data across all systems within 45 days,
Except where retention is required to comply with legal or regulatory obligations (e.g., financial records, fraud prevention, or audits)
Provide written confirmation once the deletion process is complete
5. Disclaimer
5.1 In the event that Woobie undergoes a sale, merger, acquisition, or other business transfer:
Veterans will be notified in advance via email
Veterans may request deletion of their personal data prior to the transfer being finalized, subject to any legal obligations requiring data retention
Any acquiring entity will be required to uphold privacy protections that are equivalent to or stronger than those outlined in this policy
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Woobie may occasionally update these Terms and the Privacy Policy to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes.
When this occurs:
Veterans will receive direct notification of material updates via email and/or in-app message within 7 days of the change
The most current version of our privacy policy will always be accessible on our website
7. Limitation and Liability
7.1. Woobie is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from the use or inability to use our Services.
8. Termination
8.1. Woobie reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to our Services at our discretion, without notice, for any violation of these Terms or any other reason.
9. Governing Law
9.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of California. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the state of California.
10. Terms Changes
10.1. Woobie reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time.
11. Refund Policy
11.1. Due to the nature of our services, all sales are final once any of the following have occurred:
● Delivery of any digital products, including but not limited to reports, templates, or documentation, regardless of whether they have been accessed, opened, or downloaded.
● Confirmation or scheduling of any medical appointments or evaluations on behalf of the client.
11.2. By purchasing our services, you acknowledge and agree that you are not entitled to a refund after the above conditions are met.
